After completing Good Home, go to the ruined camp directly south of Small Bridge Shrine and use Focus to follow its drag marks. You will find a Sanzhana by a mushroom ring, then track the bandits, defeat them, and return to its burrow to unlock the trader.

Confirm the starting conditions

  1. Complete Good Home in the Svartrau Outskirts first. This is part of the Sanzhani quest chain, so do not keep searching around the shrine if the prerequisite is unfinished.
  2. From Small Bridge Shrine, walk directly south. The abandoned camp is south of the shrine beside the woodland route.
  3. Reserve one time segment before leaving. PowerPyx records this quest as one segment; treat your live quest prompt as the final confirmation.

Find the Sanzhana from the abandoned camp

  1. At the camp, activate Focus. The current PC default is holding right mouse while your weapon is sheathed; look for drag marks and blood leading south.

  2. Follow the marks into the woods. IGN?s route coverage places tents, warm embers, and blood before the trail leaves the road, so do not leave after checking only the first tent.

  3. Continue to the mushroom circle with a Sanzhana and two bodies. Speak with it before moving on so you receive the bandit and teeth-trade lead.

Track and defeat the bandits

  1. After the conversation, activate Focus again near the ground and find a fresh set of footprints. They lead farther south or southwest through the trees.
  2. The trail reaches a bandit group. Complete the dialogue, then defeat them. The reviewed sources do not establish a fixed enemy count, level, or fight duration, so this guide does not invent any of those values.
  3. On PC, directional attacks use W/A/S/D plus left mouse, directional blocks use W/A/S/D plus right mouse, and dodges use a movement direction plus Space. Read the incoming direction for ordinary attacks; dodge unblockable moves.

Return and verify the trader unlock

  1. Return to the Sanzhana's burrow and report that the bandits are dealt with. The dialogue turns to collecting teeth and trading.
  2. Open the trade screen after the conversation to verify the vendor is unlocked. The Sanzhana buys teeth-type items from enemies, but acquiring a tooth is not a prerequisite for finishing this quest.
  3. If you do not buy anything immediately, the Sanzhana later moves to Yawning Burrow and remains available for trade. Check the journal to confirm Pearly and Precious is complete.

Fix lost trails and a missing trader

If the first trail disappears, return to the abandoned camp. If the bandit trail disappears, return to the mushroom ring after finishing the Sanzhana conversation, then scan the ground again. The first clue is a drag mark; the second is a footprint trail.

If you defeated the bandits but cannot trade, return to the burrow and finish the report dialogue. The trader unlock happens after that exchange, not when the final bandit falls; Yawning Burrow is the later location to check.
