Check which health pool needs help before preparing supplies. Human healing and vampiric healing are different effects. A restoration label alone does not prove an item restores the pool you currently need.
Check recipes and ingredients
- Open your unlocked healing recipes and read the target effect. Ingredients alone do not unlock a recipe.
- For human healing, check Minor Mending Ointment: 1 Canteen of Water and 2 Ribwort Plantain.
- For vampire supplies, check Animal Blood Infusion: 1 Vial of Animal Blood, 2 Ribwort Plantain and 2 Yellow Sweet Clover.
These ingredients come from the recipe reference; confirm them against your current crafting screen. Earliest recipe pickup points, fixed gathering coordinates and vendor restocks are not confirmed here.
Make the item usable
- Select an unlocked recipe and resolve the displayed ingredient shortage before crafting.
- Find the finished item in inventory and assign it to a quickslot using the on-screen prompt.
- Check its name and remaining quantity before combat. After use, inspect the intended health pool and item count.
Plan a supply stop
Write down missing ingredients before leaving. Prioritize the effect your current form needs instead of spending everything on overlapping consumables. Practice blocking and dodging to reduce repeated supply use.
If healing seems ineffective
Check the target pool, quickslot assignment, quantity and usage prompt in that order. Anca's recipe is a separate quest conversation, not this ordinary crafting process.
