Check the reported free cave pickup north of Vedera Marsh Guardpost, or complete Pearly and Precious and buy the silk bundle from the Sanzhana merchant south of Small Bridge. If the cave pickup is absent, follow the merchant checks below. Ordinary cloth is not a substitute for the armor quest’s material.

Unlock and find the seller

  1. Complete Good Home to open the Sanzhani quest group.
  2. Finish Pearly and Precious, including its return conversation. Merely starting the task does not complete the merchant unlock.
  3. Travel to Small Bridge and look south for the Sanzhana trader. Open the shop and inspect the exact Bundle of Silk Threads listing before buying.
  4. Check the acquired item and the armor objective. Published prices disagree, so use the price shown in your own shop rather than budgeting around a guaranteed figure.

Is there a free route?

Check the cave used by Come Hither, north of Vedera Marsh Guardpost and south of Svetlograd. The newer location report describes this route:

  1. Follow the dirt path past red mushrooms and dead trees; look for a crevice in the rocky ground.
  2. Descend into the torch-lit passage and inspect the floor beside a wall torch for Silk Threads.
  3. Pick it up, then check your inventory and the armor objective. Return to the smith once the other required components are also ready.

The claimed requirement to activate the armor quest before the cave drains remains unconfirmed. If the passage is flooded or the pickup is absent, use the merchant route rather than assuming your save is broken.

Avoid an unnecessary quest chain

Completing all of Letters to Lunka is not a prerequisite for buying this material. The other Sanzhani tasks become available after Good Home; the order in a walkthrough is not a mandatory unlock sequence.
