After the prologue, follow the glowing mushroom rings north of Sandy Gorge Shrine to Heile’s burrow. The search for Tonis leads through marked trees; the teeth objective depends on the final choice.
Find Heile and Tonis
- Follow the rings east and crouch into the burrow. Speak to Heile to receive the investigation locations.
- For the investigation route, inspect the blood-cross house in Oghasti and the upstairs chair and candles in the Wooden Palace. These provide context; PowerPyx also describes going directly to the burner camp.
- Ask the Coal Burner Chief about Tonis. Follow X-marked trees northeast to his campfire, then offer a drink or help to start the conversation. Read the time cost before choosing work.
The Oghasti and Wooden Palace investigations are optional. For the shorter route, go directly to the burner camp. If you investigate, use Focus in the blood-cross house for the whip, bottles, basket and family drawing; upstairs at the Wooden Palace, check the candle, apple, axe, chair and distant smoke. Carrying beer or wine lets you use the drink conversation instead of the work option described by ATH's full route.
Decide at the burrow
Bring Tonis back and keep a save before the reunion dialogue. Convincing him to let Heile stay ends that branch. Asking the Tsarina to let her leave adds the request for three shiny teeth; loot human enemies and return to hand them in. Do not assume every corpse guarantees a tooth.
There is also a failure outcome in which Tonis attacks and dies. Silence, refusing the Tsarina's price, or hostile follow-up answers are reported triggers. If you want both siblings alive, save before this exchange and avoid continuing after the conversation turns confrontational.
No three-teeth objective or handover option?
ATH's teeth guide describes this dialogue sequence: argue for Heile living with her own kind, ask about her future in the burrow, then agree to the Tsarina's price. Check for the collection objective before hunting. Persuading Tonis to leave her there ends a different branch.
Before returning, check Oddities for three Shiny Teeth. Looting bodies matters; defeating an enemy alone is not a collection check. Speak to the Tsarina to hand them over and confirm the objective clears. The source's guaranteed boss drops and increased drop-rate claims remain unverified here.
