Bring the four requested components to the blacksmith at Uriashi Hermitage, then finish the ritual. Collecting the ingredients alone does not award the enhanced set.

Activate the material objectives

  1. At Infamy level 4, watch for the mysterious letter. The delivery encounter is not a reliable fixed-location waypoint. PowerPyx also describes a character-led introduction through Anca; check your journal before treating the random letter as the only entry route. Components can be collected before you receive the list.
  2. Open Books and Notes in the inventory and read the letter. Then open List of Armour Components; highlighting its inventory tile is not the same as reading it.
  3. Close the inventory and inspect A Bulwark Against Darkness. Check that its individual collection objectives appeared before searching for another trigger.

Check the four components

Use the separate routes for Large Lizard’s Moult, Silk Threads and Quicksilver. The remaining component is an eligible saint’s relic. PowerPyx records St. Tyna and St. Dasius options; do not assume every religious item qualifies.

Hand in and finish

  1. Go to Uriash Hermitage in the northwest of the map and speak to the blacksmith. Read the hand-in choices before surrendering a relic you use elsewhere. If you gave away St. Tyna's relic in Most Precious Thing, check the alternative relic route rather than repeating the convent search.
  2. After the components are accepted, continue the conversation to start the ritual. All Things How describes wolves followed by an Ursine Apparition; this encounter detail has not been tested firsthand here. Prepare healing before confirming the dialogue, and leave room to evade rather than pursuing an enemy into a corner.
  3. Clear the ritual enemies, then check both the quest log and the equipment inventory. The completion check is the Enhanced Arbiter set and Arbiter’s Regalia achievement; an initial armor piece alone is not the final reward.

Before agreeing to the binding

ATH reports that the freshly forged set is surrendered for the ritual. Equip spare armor before confirming, then inspect your equipment slots rather than assuming the new pieces remain equipped. This precaution follows the published walkthrough, not a firsthand test.

Relic choice and final inventory

The newer ATH walkthrough also lists Saint’s Tibia and a Night of Horrors relic. Their eligibility remains independently unconfirmed; use an actual hand-in option rather than discarding your confirmed relic in advance.

After the ritual, check the Enhanced versions of Armour, Shin Guards, Boots and Bracers of the Arbiter. Missing pieces or the original epic set mean you should recheck the dialogue and journal before treating the upgrade as complete.

Saint’s Tibia is not St. Tyna’s necklace

For the reported tibia route, the relic-location account directs you down the exterior stairs from Anca’s balcony at St. Tyna’s Convent, then to a nun’s body on grass outside the archway. Check the looted name before leaving. This is distinct from the necklace involved in Echoes of Silenced Bells. The exact corpse and armor hand-in remain independently unverified here; confirm your journal and available delivery option instead of treating any convent relic as interchangeable.

Time and disputed details

PowerPyx budgets five time segments plus material acquisition; All Things How assigns three to the ritual itself. These describe different portions of the route, so use the current interaction prompt before committing time. Other relic eligibility, exact armor bonuses and a mandatory nighttime start remain unconfirmed here.

If the quest stops advancing

Reopen the actual component list, check the missing objective and verify the exact item name in your inventory. A gland is not a moult, and ordinary fabric is not the requested silk bundle. Forge It Anew is the separate weapon project; its sword pieces do not replace armor ingredients.

Materials ready, but the smith will not craft

The newer materials guide reports a dialogue about wanting to kill Brencis before the smith agrees to work. Check the available conversation topics as well as the collection objectives; arriving at the forge alone is not the hand-in.

Verify that every component is still in your inventory. A relic previously surrendered in another quest is not an available ingredient. For silk, check the exact bundle through the silk routes, rather than treating ordinary fabric or a completed quest name as proof of possession.

What these newer accounts do not settle

One says Infamy 4, another says 4 or 5; neither makes every city visit a guaranteed delivery. They also disagree on enemies in the moult cave and broadly claim all saint relics qualify. Keep using the individual item guides and actual hand-in choices. Do not buy an expensive replacement solely because a general armor roundup names it.
