The Pond Islet chest is buried beneath the trees on the small island in southwestern Rockfalls. Take the map from the nearby bandit camp, track the activity, reach the island and dig with a shovel. PowerPyx records one time segment for the excavation.
From the camp to the island
- Search the Rockfalls bandit camp. Check the containers around the tent. ATH describes a sack or loot pile; PowerPyx describes a chest, so verify the document name rather than relying on one container description.
- Take Treasure Map: Pond Islet. Read it, then select Rockfalls – Pond Islet in the journal. Do not confuse this with Rockfalls – Split Rock.
- Locate the water in southwestern Rockfalls. Within the search area, identify the small central island. A custom marker can help you navigate to that land rather than an arbitrary point on the shore.
- Cross to the island. Be prepared to swim: ATH's two accounts disagree on shallow-water access. Reach solid ground before searching beneath the trees.
- Inspect the disturbed earth. Use Focus if needed, carry a shovel and read the time prompt. Dig, open the exposed chest and collect the contents.
- Check the journal. Confirm that Pond Islet completed and inspect your inventory. Reaching the island alone does not finish the activity.
No prompt beneath the tree?
Check the shovel first, then make sure you are on the island instead of the outer bank. Move around the base of the trees to locate the soil interaction. Do not assume a spare tool always lies beside this treasure; the shovel preparation guide lists other pickups.
What is the boots reward?
ATH and PowerPyx both record Noble's Scarlet Buskins, an epic medium boots item. Inspect the actual equipment card and your armour proficiency before replacing your current boots. This is a medium armour reward, not a legendary item promised by this guide.
The sources disagree on accompanying weapons, rings and valuables. This page therefore does not promise an entire fixed loot package. The map's post-completion inventory behaviour is also not a reliable success check; use the journal and collected contents.
Avoid unnecessary detours
ATH mentions a camp northwest of Burners's Clearing, but the independently supported regional route is Rockfalls and its southwestern island. Use that region and the tracked activity together. No fixed guard count, travel duration or automatic island waypoint is assumed.
