Finders Keepers ends at the shallow cave beneath a sloped rock northwest of Briar Slough Hillock Shrine. Get Treasure Map: Silver Cache from the chasm barrel, follow the shrine–crossroads–graveyard route, clear the wolves, and dig inside the cave with a shovel. This is a different treasure from the Briar Sloughs riverbank tree.

Start the correct treasure hunt

After Smoke and Ashes, search the wreckage during The Cursed Chasm, west of Coward's Path Shrine. The broken barrel on the chasm floor contains the Silver Cache map; taking it starts Finders Keepers. If you are already following the Durandal route, check the surrounding debris before leaving. Read the map and track this quest rather than another bandit treasure activity.

Walk from Coward's Path to the cave

  1. Start at Coward's Path Shrine. Follow the road northeast until the junction that Coen comments on. The sketch's roadside shrine is your starting landmark.
  2. Take the northern branch. Stay with the faint path into the trees instead of cutting across the woods. You are looking for an untended graveyard.
  3. Identify the graves and ruined house. ATH also describes a wooden arch and boars around this clearing. Leave on the path heading east to northeast.
  4. Approach Briar Slough Hillock Shrine. Before reaching it, look north when tree stumps appear. If you have reached the shrine already, turn northwest uphill rather than continuing east.
  5. Find a rock with an accessible recess. The destination leans diagonally and forms a shallow cave at its base. An ordinary solid roadside boulder is not enough.
  6. Clear the wolf pack and Pack Leader. Do this before entering the digging interaction. No fixed enemy count, weapon level or guaranteed attack sequence is required by this route.
  7. Enter the shallow cave and inspect the ground. Focus can help distinguish the disturbed earth. Carry the shovel, read the time prompt, dig, then loot the exposed container.
  8. Check Finders Keepers in the journal. Confirm completion and inspect the Silver Cache goods. Killing the Pack Leader or finishing the animation alone is not a substitute for collecting the treasure.

Tools and time

A shovel is reusable; check the Consumables inventory before leaving. PowerPyx lists pickups in the Briar Sloughs camp and the camp between Maragir Wealds and St. Tyna's Grove, among others. Keep the tool after this quest.

PowerPyx lists the quest at two time segments, with 100 XP and one skill point on completion. ATH mixes the wording “hours” and “segments”; this guide does not convert between them. Read the actual interaction cost and check your current deadline before committing.

No prompt or no completion?

Check the shovel first, then any remaining hostile wolves, then whether you have entered the shallow cave. Search the soil under the rock rather than the open ground where the pack fought. If the chest is already exposed, inspect and loot that container before assuming another excavation is needed.

Use the silver rather than expecting a weapon

ATH records a Silver Cache Letter alongside silver lumps, a cross, chalice and bowl. Coin amounts differ across reports, so no fixed purse total is promised here. The letter explains the intended use of the hoard; it is not a new instruction from this guide to spend it in a particular way.

Keep silver goods until you have checked the silver trader unlock and selling guide. Inspect the offered price in the trade interface; this route does not promise a fixed sale value. The reward is a silver cache, not another guaranteed legendary equipment chest.
