Loot the wrecked cart on the Cursed Chasm floor for Durandal. Start from Coward's Path Shrine, investigate the broken bridge and descend the rocky ledges. Picking up the sword and meeting its equip requirement are separate checks.

Reach the bridge

  1. After the prologue, locate Coward's Path Shrine in Briar Sloughs and follow the broken-bridge route.
  2. Inspect the wreckage and check for The Cursed Chasm in the journal. Save before descending.
  3. Use the rocky ledges rather than jumping directly from the bridge. Verify any night traversal ability before relying on it to escape.

Find the cart

  1. Observe the wolves and Echoes before entering their space. Retreat to prepare if you cannot defend reliably.
  2. Follow the gorge to the wrecked vehicle at the far end. Search the vehicle's loot, not just enemy bodies.
  3. Confirm Durandal in inventory and inspect the quest state.

Cannot equip it

Read the requirement on the weapon card. Item level and required character level are different values. Use the current card for your version; a greyed-out weapon does not require another pickup.
