In Dawnwalker Fair Maiden, intercept the escort and finish the rescued woman’s conversation. Clearing soldiers and preserving the captive are separate checks. Gamer Guides records a three-segment cost and both a rescue and a hunger-related outcome.
Find the forest-road encounter
- Use the Tantari Woods road described by ATH. Compare the map, approach the escort and confirm Fair Maiden in the journal; the pictured interception text alone also fits other prisoner transports.
- If the road marker seems empty, search along the road for the moving group. Gamer Guides identifies attacking the hostage’s guards as the trigger. Do not attack unrelated travellers simply because they stand near a marker.

Resolve the encounter
- Defeat the escort, then approach the captive for her conversation. Check nearby survivors if combat remains active.
- Before committing, save separately if her survival matters. The database records loss of control when starving; review hunger precautions instead of assuming night combat guarantees a safe rescue.
- Finish the scene and inspect the Court entry. Loot is separate from the conversation checkpoint.
What is still uncertain?
The exact shrine-to-road approach remains unconfirmed here. Enemy levels and XP in ATH describe its example, not guaranteed values. A completion banner does not by itself establish the captive survived: check the scene and journal outcome together.
