Complete Our Rotten Roots, return for Lacra’s research conversation, and follow the wisps through their investigation stops. The crypt expedition and the optional relationship scene are separate decisions.

Trigger the expedition

  1. Check that Our Rotten Roots is complete. PowerPyx gives one full game day and Westridge Outpost Tower; ATH says a couple of days and Rock Hills. Follow your tracked objective and check after one day before spending additional time.
  2. Ask about Lacra’s idea rather than selecting the attack on Brencis. Reach the roadside shrine, finish the conversation and follow the red wisps.

Make the wisps continue

  1. Inspect the stone slab when they stop, then finish the memory conversation. Clear the enemies and lizards along the next trail.
  2. Crouch beneath the branches and inspect the severed arm near the plants. Defeat the resulting hellhounds and speak to Lacra again.
  3. At the blocked entrance, inspect the rock wrapped in red roots. Let Lacra open the route; searching elsewhere in the swamp does not replace this interaction.

Crypt route and the hidden room

  1. Explore with Focus Mode and clear the undead. At the hallway gap, use the left-side route. Inspect the body at the intersection twice for The Vrakhir sword, then cross via the left ledge.
  2. Inspect the sarcophagus, defeat the spirits and finish the conversation. Inspect the final wall so Lacra opens the hidden area, then approach her in the next room.
Ability rewards and relationship decision — spoilers

Eating the mandrake grants Mandrake Ward. The documented romance route grants Mesmerise; accepting romance is not necessary just to finish the expedition. Use the separate Lacra romance guide for that choice. ATH’s additional guaranteed reward claims are not independently confirmed here.

Check the completed quest and ability unlock separately. If wisps stop moving, revisit the latest investigation and conversation rather than waiting through another day.
