After defeating the transport escort, take and read the Letter of Reprimand from a human guard’s body. That is the documented completion step for Bloody Business. Do not leave simply because the fight ended or try to reproduce Roadside Surprise’s barrel conversation.

Find the moving patrol

  1. Search the road between Maragir Wealds to the north and Maragir village to the south, along the eastern side of Ambrus’s territory. The transport patrol moves; an empty spot does not establish that the activity is unavailable.
  2. Follow the road and track the intercept objective once it appears. Use the activity name to distinguish this convoy from other patrols. The map reference below shows the intercept prompt, but does not provide named landmarks or an exact patrol boundary.

Defeat the escort without losing the bodies

  1. Clear the escort, including the Uriash carrying a blood barrel. ATH’s newer account and Gamer Guides describe three human guards and one Uriash. Start with lighter soldiers where possible and leave room to evade the heavier enemy.
  2. Before leaving the fight site, use Focus and inspect the human bodies for the quest letter. ATH identifies the captain as Makar and describes a yellow quest highlight. If the names or colours are unclear, open each human guard’s loot list and check the item title.

Take and read the correct letter

  1. Take Letter of Reprimand and open it if the pickup did not display its text. The note is addressed to Makar by Bardil and concerns the shipment. It is distinct from other correspondence or a manual taken from the Uriash.
  2. Check the journal for completion after reading. If the activity remains active, verify that the letter was actually collected, that you opened the correct note and that no escort enemy remains. Breaking cargo is not a substitute for this step.

ATH lists a Sharp Eye Manual and other equipment among one run’s loot. Exact incidental drops remain unconfirmed; finding a manual does not prove you collected the completion item.

Time and reward discrepancy

All three sources list three time segments. Gamer Guides and the newer ATH page list 250 XP and no skill point, while the older ATH page claims 12 XP. The discrepancy remains unresolved; use the game’s quest reward panel for your save, rather than treating a floating combat number as the activity reward.

For a transport activity with a documented skill-point reward, see Roadside Surprise. This quest still contributes to Ambrus’s activities; check the Court guide before choosing the next route.
